CHICAGO AND THE DUNES - JULY 5TH & 6TH: Got to spend a little time in Chicago this weekend. I had been wanting to visit the new Museum of Science and Industry model train layout and it was really great. Of course, we had to have lunch at Bergoff's and then after spent a little time down by the lake.
Another bit of sad news, Jim's mother Helen passed on just about exactly one month after Bob. She was 88. I think she had lost her will to live after Bob's passing. Now they have once again been united. God bless you both. I'm so glad we got to share a little time with both of them last Easter.
The next day we went to Dunes State Park and climbed Mount Baldie. We drove over to Michigan City and spent a little time at the marina. Brought back many fond memories.
