OCTOBER 10-21, 2007: GERMANY TRIP. Janet and I flew to Germany with three goals. First stop was a great visit Anita, Volker, Judy and Lars in Neustat; Phaltz area. Even had the opportunity of playing 36 holes of golf at Volker's home course. We visited Wurzburg and Heidelberg. And Neustat had a huge Wine Festival complete with at least a 3 hour parade. Next, we took the train to Sonderhausen to see if we could find out any information about my Great Great Grandparents, Henry and Frederika Rosensteil. We came up empty on that account, but were able to recharge our batteries a bit before taking another train to Berlin. Berlin is a world class city with many wonderful architectural gems and much history. Finally, had to reboard a train back to Frankfort for our trip home.
