JANE'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION: We went up to Muncie on Saturday the 14th to see Jane and take her out to dinner. It had been awhile since I'd been back to campus so it was good to see some of the improvements. We stopped in the new journalism building that also has some great student center type functions. There was a small art exhibit and I took one picture of a funny painting that was very well done. Jane has a nice apartment for her last semester on campus and it sounds like her class schedule is keeping her busy. We had a nice walk through campus while Ball State was beating Indiana State in football -- must have been why we heard fireworks. The bell tower is a very attractive focal point of the campus. The rededication of the Art building was the following day.
