March 19th,2006: MURDER MYSTERY DINNER at the BENTON HOUSE a.k.a. Roadkill. "The Good, the Bad and the Guilty." All I can say is that Elvira did it; but we didn't find that out until some time after imbibing in a great quantity of wine and enjoying a very excellent four course dinner prepared by our friends Patty, Dennis and Erma. Thanks for putting this event in the Church Preschool auction last Thanksgiving. I'm very glad I won the bid. I told Janet that I felt like I had taken a vacation without actually going anywhere. We got to meet and become aquainted with a peculiar old wild west bunch of characters including Wyatt, Elvira, Elias, Helena, Butch, Pelvis, Adele and Chief Breaking Wind. Be sure and check out the pictures for this one, because everyone looked and played their parts up to the hilt and the Benton House made for one spectacular setting. A good time was had by one and all!
