New Orleans, LA - 3/22/12 to 3/31/12: The one thing we learned in New Orleans is that time doesn't matter. It really felt like we had left the United States and ended up in the Caribbean. The French Quarter, the Garden District, the friendly people, great food, great music .... what a great city. And what an amazing history. We had to leave right at the start of the Final Four festivities, but we couldn't have asked for a better time or better weather.

I forgot to mention that we were fortunate to once again travel with our good friends - Arthur and Sharon. Arthur had done his homework and scoped out many of the fine restaurants in the Big Easy; so needless to say, we enjoyed some very extraordinary Caijon cuisine.

On the drive back, we stopped in Huntsville, AL for a very quick visit to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. A whole day should be allowed here in order to fully experience all that this facility has to offer.
