NOV 27, 2003 - THANKSGIVING: Catherine and Aunt Joan joined us for Thanksgiving this year, which made for a very special Thanksgiving even though the weather wasn't very good. We all had a great time. Joyce hosted the main event, while everyone else contributed. Friday, Janet got stung by a yellow jacket. That's right. She was going to get some wood outside and slipped her hand into a work glove. There was a yellow jacket hiding in one of the fingers and it stung her right under the finger nail. OUCH!!! Needless to say that put a damper on her planned events for the morning, but she bounced back by afternoon. Catherine and Joan did some paper crafts and Jane worked on her scrapbook. We all enjoyed a restful day by the fire. On Saturday, everyone had to go their separate ways. It was sure good seeing everyone. I met my good friend, Dennis and his daughter Anne, at Bob Evans for breakfast. They were visiting from the U.P. We got a quick chance to catch up on life and work in general.
